He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Thompson and Marguerite Hamm Thompson; his father-in-law Earl; his grandchildren, Megan Ulmer and Eric Wills; his siblings, Audra Terry, Phyllis Mumaw, Max, Don, Hubert and Walter Thompson; and his close friend Larry Zachary.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his sister Kay Callis; his children, Lisa Black (Dave) of Wisconsin, Kevin Thompson (Liz), Rita Mawhorter (Mike) of Columbia City, Kimm Wheeler (Dan) and Arlinda Wills (Erin) of Crawfordsville; his grandchildren, Chris Black, Natalie Grandahl (Kyle), Jaclyn Wesley (Mike), Ryan Brandt, Scott Mawhorter (Samantha), Kara Dryer (Zach), Karlee Mawhorter (Luke), Chance Allen (Kaitlin), Elijah Allen (Morgan), Nathan Ulmer (Amber), Alec Kesling and Evan Wills (Jamie); and his great grandchildren, Mikayla, Jacob Wesley, Ocean, Aspen Brandt, Everett, Adelyn Grandahl, Presley Ulmer, Adam Dryer, Maddie, Carson Crowder and Grayson Collins. He is also survived by his kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Masonic Lodge #50, 221 S. Washington Street Crawfordsville or Rock Point Church, 429 W 150 S, Crawfordsville.
