He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Beck and Effie Beck (Woods); his wife Matilda Angela Loretta Beck (Krieg); his children, Karyn Beck and Edward "Lee" Beck; his brother Ansel Beck; and his half-brother Halden Beck.

He is survived by: his daughter Joyce Beck; his grandchildren, Taylor Beck and Madelyn Beck; and his daughter-in-law Lora.
