It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Hornaday of Covington, Indiana, born in Versailles, Missouri, who passed away on November 8, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elva Hornaday (Young) and James William Hornaday; his siblings, Mary Jane, Martha Jean Brown and Earl Hornaday; his children, Tina Marie Hornaday and Richard Lee Hornaday; and his great grandchild Heavenly.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Hughes; his niece Bess Huls of Danville; his granddaughter Mary Louise Hornaday; his great grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew and Vayden of Terre Haute, IN; and his close friends, Travis and Kelly Walters of Covington. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
