With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rex Whittington (Covington, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2024 at the age of 68. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rex Whittington to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fuson Whittington and Irene Whittington; and his brothers, Gerald, Tom, Joe Paul and Frank.
He is survived by: his children, Joshua, Jacob (Pacia) and Hannah Witsman (Adam); his spouse Robin; his children, Shawn Abernathy, Tiffany Cates (Travis) and Lyndsey Nelson (Alvin); and his siblings, John, Anne Pittman, Jan Ludlow and Max. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
A reception was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rivercrest Golf Course (14 Club House Dr, Covington, IN 47932).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Coleman Cancer Center, 2723 S 7th St, Terre Haute, IN 47802 in Rex's name.
