He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Ruth Bowman; his son Dennis; and his siblings, William (Bill), George, Florence, Lou Dunham, Agnes Hitchens, Mabel Minges (Billie), Bessie Boht, Gladys Cunningham and Lucille Walters.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Johanna Burke Hawley (Bobby), Eric Burke (Kerri), Daniel Burke, Daren Burke (Lachelle), Keith Burke and Darius Burke (Allison); and his great grandchildren, Delilah, Scarlett Burke, Blain, Reid Burke and Sawyer Burke. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in his name to Covington Little League Baseball and Softball.
