She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Bates and Bonnie Bates; and her grandson Patrick Allen Ruth. She is survived by: her significant other Carl Gray; and her siblings, Walter Bates (Sharon), Janice Berwanger (Porky), Bonnie Stanley (Ray), Mary Young (Ray) and Diane Howard (Larry). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home, Covington Chapel (420 3rd St, Covington, IN 47932). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
