John Morris Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Morris of Covington, Indiana, who passed away on August 23, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Norma Moriarity, Dixie Ingram, Betty Gildersleeve (Oral), Beverly Blackburn and Billy K. Morris; and his siblings-in-law, Russell Stark, Clarence Turner, Lewis Turner, Barbara Turner, Reva Turner and Joyce Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his daughters, Sheri L. Phaneuf of St. Charles, MO, Lori Kimberlin (Hubert) of Coeburn, VA and Stacie (Lisa Nalepa); his stepdaughter Beth Harris; his brother Alfred Morris (Belva) of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Jay Phaneuf of St. Charles, MO, Shawna Ermold (Patrick Gillis) of St. Louis, MO, Melissa Childress (Logan) of Bristol, TN, Michael Durham (Durham) of Oklahoma City, OK, Shane Terry of Leland, NC and Johnny Paul Terry (Lindsey) of Wilmington, NC; his siblings-in-law, Annabeth Stark, Arlene Snyder, Norma Turner, Sonna Crowder (Ronnie), Naomi Hershberger (Roy) and Max C. Turner; and his close friend James Bentley (Peggy) of Veedersburg, IN.. He is also survived by his twelve great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson who is due anytime; several nieces and nephews.
It is kindly requested that face masks be worn, and social distancing is practiced by those in attendance of the visitation and/or service.
Memorial donations may be given in his name to Alzheimer's Association or Humane Society or Donor's choice of Charity.
