It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jack Ray Mears of Covington, Indiana, born in Danville, Illinois, who passed away on May 15, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his son Jason Mears (Keri) of Lakeland, Florida; his grandchildren, Chase Mears (Lauren), Collin Mears (Skyler), Rosa Klossner and Jack; his great grandchildren, Myah, Lily, Lucas and Aiden; and his brother Alan Mears (Amy).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Stringtown Church of God.
