It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don P. Campbell of Covington, Indiana, born in Madison, Indiana, who passed away on October 9, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his stepmother Eulena V. Campbell; his former wife Carol Ann Holt; his stepdaughter Hellen M. Leak; his grandson Nikolas "Nik" Schechter; his nephew Jonathan Brandon; and his son-in-law Eric N. Van Vactor.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Louise Alexander; his daughters, Dawn C. Campbell of Covington, IN, Jodi B. Campbell of Terre Haute, IN, Susan D. McDaniel (Douglas) of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Penny Van Vactor of Williamsport, IN and Brooke Chavez of Williamsport, IN; his siblings, James Campbell (Linda) of Ft. Myers, FL, Diane Michele Carpenter of Madison, IN and Karen Mathis (Everett) of Madison, IN; and his great grandchild Many. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
