He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Jr. Swingle and Ruth Swingle (Gressmire); and his grandson Corbin Eaton. He is survived by: his wife Darleen Galloway; his children, Matthew Swingle (Kris) of Oakwood, IL, Tamera DeMoss (Tony) of Covington and Kimberly Eaton of Covington; his sisters, Mary Martha Unekis (John) of Columbia, SC, Shirley Wood of Florence, KY, Beverly Jane Brown (Jim) of Covington, Charlotte Dowers of Cayuga and Roberta Gallagher (Kevin) of Cayuga; his half-brothers, Brian Swingle (Wendy) of Indianapolis and Mark Swingle (Debbie) of Perrysville; his grandchildren, Allyson Burchett (Scottie), Rebecca Walan (Ethan), Jacob Eaton, Seth DeMoss and Zachary Eaton; and his great grandchildren, Lucas and Zander Burchett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
It is kindly requested that face masks be worn, and social distancing is practiced by those in attendance of the visitation and/or service.
Memorial donations in Charles' honor may be given to Covington-Salem United Methodist Church or to the Western Indiana Community Foundation for charitable projects in the Perrysville or Covington areas.
