She was predeceased by: her parents, Omer Saltsgaver and Delpha Ferree Saltsgaver; her husband Alvin Melton; and her siblings, Richard, Edward Saltsgaver and Pearl Saltsgaver.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Melton (Jeanne) of Corydon, IN, Janet Sloan (Roger) of Corydon, IN, Julie Harris (Ronnie) of Corydon, IN and Juanita Gelter (Mike) of Ft. Pierce, Florida; her grandchildren, April Cherry, Adam Melton, Zack Craig, Chris, Bobby, Wesley, Daniel Sloan, Josh, Jared, Jaime Gelter, Ryan, Tasha and Shawn Harris; and her great grandchildren, Rebecca, Autumn Cherry, Brodie, Eli Craig, Adalynn, Austin Melton, Logan, Aiden, Conner, Keegan, Natalie, Hudson, Paityn Sloan, Skyler Rosenshein, Samantha, Able Gelter, Crue and Clay Harris.
The family suggests memorial gifts be made to the American Cancer Society.
