He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel L. Bennett, Sr. and Carolyn Schwenker Wolfe; and his sister Donna Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Gail Frederick Bennett; his children, Chris Bennett (Andrea) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Brittany Bennett and Leah Jagatic (Zeljko) of Athens, Georgia; his grandchildren, Anthony, Stephani and Sammy; and his half-siblings, James Bennett and Belinda Landolt.
