He is survived by: his wife Wanda Ellis Phillips; his sons, Jason M. Phillips and Jeff C. Phillips; his grandsons, Darrian Z. Phillips, Jakob A. Phillips and Brett N. Phillips; and his great grandchild Heidi Lane Phillips.
