He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Briscoe and Adele Schnell Briscoe; his wife Nancy C. Briscoe; and his sons, Michael D. and Bobby Briscoe.

He is survived by: his sons, Larry H. Briscoe of Georgetown, Jerry E. Briscoe (Kim) of Georgetown and Douglas L. Briscoe (Teri) of New Albany. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
