He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Saltsgaver and Dorothy Marie Saltsgaver (Nickelson). He is survived by: his wife Alice Saltsgaver (Plummer); his children, Hope Johnson (Greg Huff), Ashley Mathes (Matt) and Clinton Rice (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Ethan Saltsgaver, Addison Huff, Audrey Mathes, Vera Mathes, Henry Mathes, Mikel Rice, Shiloh Rice, Ezra Rice, Hannah Rice, Caleb Rice, Abigail Rice and Daniella Rice; and his brother Mark Edward Saltsgaver. He is also survived by several aunt, uncle, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Green Funeral Home (121 Water St, Marengo, IN 47140). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Dillman Cemetery.
