He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Summers and Lena Schweitzer Summers; his daughters, Jeannie and Cynthia Summers; and his brother Edgar Brown.
He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Summers Kelly; his grandchildren, Adam Eskridge, Caitlin Thomas Henson, Jordan Thomas and Allison Walker; and his niece Jo Ann Winn. He is also survived by Great Grandchildren.
