In the sacred silence of farewell, Mildred is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomason and Francis Thomason; and her brother Johnny Thomason. She is survived by: her husband Sherman Shartzer; her sons, Stephen Shartzer (Rebecca) and James Shartzer (Jennifer); and her siblings, Jim Thomason (Belva) and Mary Young.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home (318 E Chestnut St, Corydon, IN 47112). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
