She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Miller and Roxie Beard Miller; her husbands, Reid Ledford and Pierce Newton; her close friend Don Henkel; and her sisters, Charlene Arvin and Bessie Leary.

She is survived by: her children, Reid Ledford, Jr. (Sharon) of Corydon, Nevin Ledford (Christie) of Leavenworth, Indiana, Karen Hardsaw (Clark) of Corydon and Reida Fleace (Tony) of Mauckport, Indiana; and her sister Beulah Royse (Fred) of Corydon. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
