She was predeceased by: her parents, Audron A. McCullum and Nellie W. Briles McCullum; her husbands, Sherman E. Wright, Sr. and Patrick L. Hammond; her children, Douglas D. Wright and Sharon "Sue" Morris; and her brother Ernest "Dean" McCullum.

She is survived by: her children, Sherman E. "Shay" Wright, Jr. (Patty) and Audrey Jean Smith; and her siblings, Arkie McCullum, Denny McCullum and Linda Carol Wiseman. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and many great and great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home (201 N Oak St, Corydon, IN 47112). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
