With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry W. Shickles of Corydon, Indiana, born in Mauckport, Indiana, who passed away on September 5, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ada Mae Earnspiker Shickles; and his siblings, Raymond Knowles, Harold Knowles, William Knowles, Jackie Shickles, Thelma Abbate, Jean Driscoll and Louise Russell.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Dale Shickles (Remy) of Palmyra, Indiana, Allison Stratton (Brian) of Louisville and Cynthia Ruddock (Robert) of Sellersburg, Indiana; his siblings, Darrell Shickles of Georgetown, Indiana, Norma Gusler of Jeffersonville, Judy Johns of Illinois and Pam Knear (Wayne) of Corydon; and his grandchildren, Whitney Miller, Daniel Terry (Shantel), Kaitlyn Ruddock and Blake Ruddock. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
