She was predeceased by: her father James D. Carver. She is survived by: her husband Dennis K. Backherms of Corydon; her sons, Brandon C. Jones (Elizabeth) of Corydon and Chad L. Backherms of New Albany; her siblings, C. Steven Carver (Connie) of Corydon, Kimberly Wetzel (Carlton) of Fairhope, AL and Lori Carver of Corydon; and her grandchildren, Jordan, Brooklyn, Ava Jones, Jackson and Sophie Rector.
