He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherrill Woolems and Alma Woolems (Beasley); his wife Mary Woolems (Curl); his brother Charlot S. Woolems; and his son-in-law Brian Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Todd Woolems (Marina) of Palmyra, Bill Woolems (Pam) of Blue Ridge, Virginia and Sally Jones of New Albany, Indiana; his stepchildren, Russell Merker (Mary) of Eminence, Kentucky, Loretta M. Stauffer (John) of Landis and Karen S. Hughes (Alan) of Corydon, Indiana; his siblings, Philip Woolems (Linda) of English, Indiana and Susan Reed (Bill) of English, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Tiffany, Courtney, Nick, Brittany, Shelby, Grace, Ben, Max, Heather, Alanna, Daniel and Stephen. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
