With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph A. Ferriell of Corydon, Indiana, born in Lebanon, Kentucky, who passed away on May 20, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Coleman and Frances Mayme Ferriell (Mattingly); his wife Carolyn King; and his brother Richard Coleman Ferriell. He is survived by: his children, Michael Douglas Ferriell (Donna), Melissa Dawn Lewis (Troy), Elizabeth and Mitchel Darin Ferriell (Stephanie); his stepchildren, Ricky King (Mary Jo), Deborah Gentry (Jeff) and Allan King (Stacey); his grandchildren, Bo Ferriell (Heather), Chad Ferriell, Kayla Haire (Donnie), Samantha Lewis, Sydney Burns (Brandon), Hays Ferriell, Sylvia Ferriell and Warner Ferriell; his stepgrandchildren, Andy King (Jessica), Chris King (Sabrina), Amber Furry (Jon), Josh Gentry, Stephanie Maxwell (Caleb), Ryan King (Courtney) and Nicholas King; and his great grandchildren, Trey Haire, Sterling Burns and Layla Ferriell. He is also survived by nine step-great-grandchildren; three nieces and a nephew.
