He is survived by: his children, Deron Byrne (Mandy) of Danville, KY, Stephanie Byrne of Lanesville, IN, Shannon Byrne Ward (David) of Lexington, NC and Teresa Byrne Vaughn of New Albany, IN; his grandchildren, Cullen Mason (Blake), Gentry Bean (Chapman), Rylee Ward, Briles Ward and Brandon Vaughn; his great grandchildren, James Brooks Bean and Teylor Vaughn; and his niece Elizabeth Turner.
The family suggests memorial gifts be made to either the American Cancer Society or to St. John's Lutheran Church.
