He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Rainbolt and Ozena Montgomery Rainbolt; his son-in-law Roger Gerdon; and his grandsons, Joshua Crone and Daniel South Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Crystal Rainbolt (Susie); his son William Rainbolt (Sue) of Charlestown, Indiana; his stepdaughters, Cathy Stark of Corydon, Georgia South (Danny) of Corydon, Teresa Gerdon of Corydon and Lori Crone (Jerry) of Depauw, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Jessica Vermillion, Nathan Rainbolt, Tabitha Seacat, Mallory Fletcher, Erica South, Brooke South, Stuart Stark, Tyler Stark, Brandon Crone and Courtney Crone; and his siblings, Joanne Redlinger, Sharon Fleace, Pam Fleace, Ronnie Rainbolt and Linda Bischoff.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to be sent to Smith Campground Cemetery Fund or the American Kidney Fund.
