He was predeceased by: his parents, George Stange and Clara Stange; his wife Verna Wabel Stange; and his siblings, George Stange, Harold Stange, Raymond Stange, Florence Fisher and Lillian Morgan.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven Stange (Mary) of Corydon and David Stange of Raleigh; and his grandsons, Justin Stange, Nathaniel Stange, Benjamin Stange, Noah Stange and Joshua Stange. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (655 St Peters Church Rd SE, Corydon, IN 47112).
