“I know this is belated, but I didn't know about Ms. Evelyn's passing, until now. And I'm so sorry to hear of it. She was always so nice to me, and to my husband and little boy when she came in. I still think of her often. And I'll miss her. I know you don't know me. But I just thought you'd like to know that she touched my life. I wish you, her loved ones, strength & peace, in your time of sorrow. She, and you, will be in my prayers.”

“My name is Lindsey. I worked at Culver's until late 2019. I got to know Ms. Evelyn quite well in that capacity, as she used to come at least once a week to eat. I always stopped by her table, usually more than once, to talk & laugh. She called me 'Patsy', because I love to sing while I work, and Patsy Cline is one of my favorites, & hers, too. She told me she loved to hear me sing those kinds of songs, because they brought back memories of her younger days. She was a sweet, wonderful lady.”
