Though Dorothy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Guy G. Hunter (Gus); her son Jeffrey Allen Hunter; and her parents, Joseph Wanders and Theda Wanders (Rausch). She is survived by: her son Michael Hunter; and her granddaughter Beth Hunter.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Alexander West Chapel (2100 W Illinois St, Evansville, IN 47712). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at the Alexander Memorial Park (2200 Mesker Park Dr, Evansville, IN 47720).
