It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald W. Phipps of Corydon, Indiana, born in Elizabeth, Indiana, who passed away on December 17, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Clifford, Sr. and Annabelle McKnight Phipps; and his brothers, Ernest, Jr., William, Lawrence, Jerry K. and Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Becky; his son Darin; his daughter-in-law Julie; his grandchildren, Isabelle, Kurtis (Bethany), Jake (Kelsey) and Chad (Courtney); his siblings, Earl "Freddie" (Martha), Paul Phipps (Sharyn), Larry Phipps (Ruth Ann), James Phipps (Ruth), David Phipps (Sandy), Diane Wilson (Sonny), Opal Carver Bloom (Rick), Helen Deen, Marie Binkley (David) and Jeannie Hilbert (Mark); and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Faith (Becky), Darla Fischer (Bobby) and Beth Smith (Brian). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many special friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Pfrimmer's Chapel Church for children and youth ministries.
