He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard G Monroe and Genie Wilson Monroe; his siblings, Gilbert, Tom, Howard, Charles Monroe and Juanita Williams; and his grandson Brent Monroe.
He is survived by: his wife Malitida Weis Monroe (Tillie); his children, Ronald Monroe (Vickie) of Floyds Knobs, IN and Kimberly Monroe of Floyds Knobs, IN; and his stepgreat-grandchild Aden Thompson.
