He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Brown and Hazel Pate Brown; his wife Bernice L. Coffman Brown; his siblings, Neely, Delmar Brown, Earlene Engleman and Reba Brown; and his son-in-law Mike Kirchgessner.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell E. Brown, Jr., Mark Brown (Laura), Dale Watson (Debbie), Joy Kirchgessner, Dr. Anita Trowbridge (Marvin), Carol Sue Therrien, Linda Lanning (George) and Freida Lee Meincken (John). He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
