It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Joan Jones of Corydon, Indiana, born in Brazil, Indiana, who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nicholas and Blanche Sylvia Morlan Jones; her husbands, Roy P. Harland, Homer Montgomery and David Syester; and her siblings, Bob, Eldon, Donald "Gene", Jim, John, Kenny Jones and Mildred Vanatti.
She is survived by: her sons, Roy D. Harland (Mary Sue) of Corydon and Donnie R. Montgomery of Indianapolis; her brothers, Paul Norman Jones (Caroline) of Dade City and Ronald Wayne Jones (Hilda) of Moores Hill, Indiana; her grandchildren, Kristi Myers, Stacy Dills, Carrie Lory, Dr. Kathi Harp (Jordan Harp), Alyssa Montgomery and Ben Montgomery; and her great grandchildren, Harland Lory, Harrison Lory, Soren Harp and Algernon Harp.
