Barbara Jean Sibert Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Sibert (Corydon, Indiana), who passed away on May 8, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, D. P. Sauerheber and Dessie McCutcheon Sauerheber; her siblings, Richard, Warren, John Harold, Victor Sauerheber, Marjorie Sauerheber and Betty Harbeson; and her son-in-law Mike Kasbaum.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Sibert of Corydon; her daughters, Vivica Palmer (Greg) of Sharpsville, IN, Lorna Rose "Rosie" Kirkpatrick of Corydon, Letitia "Tish" Kasbaum of Louisville, KY and Felicia Sibert of Corydon; her sisters, Hazel Wolfe of New Middletown, IN and June Wolpert of Nashville, IN; her grandchildren, Corey (Caleb Palmer), Joshua Love (Anngela), Erika Steele (Luke) and Mitch Kirkpatrick (Mackenzie Kasbaum); and her great grandchildren, Madeleine, John Steele and Emma Love.
The funeral and visitation will be private due to current restrictions concerning COVID 19, however, the family would like to invite you to listen to the funeral ceremony from the safety and comfort of your car as we air it on 106. 7 FM in the East Parking Lot on Tuesday, May 12th at 2 PM at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN.
