It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara J. Mathes (Corydon, Indiana), who passed away on November 19, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Askren and Inez Helfrich Askren; and her brothers, David and John Askren. She is survived by: her husband Jesse L. Mathes; her children, Doug Mathes, Chuck Mathes (Debby) and Debra Mathes of Corydon, IN.; her sister Harriet Binkley of New Salisbury, IN; her grandchildren, Charles Mathes (Kendra), Maggie Owens (Bobby), Logan Mathes (Jessie), Michael Mathes (Reba), Elliot Mathes and Andrea Orme (Scotty); and her great grandchildren, Kairi, Charlie, Aurora, Leona, Abram Mathes, Harper, Henry Owens and Bailey Orme.
