With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Joan Fischer of Cory, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Louise Cafouras (Schmidt) and John Cafouras; her husband Joe Fischer of Cory; her son Kirk A. Fischer; her siblings, Kenneth Riley, Jack Cafouras, Rosemary Weaver, Eva Cafouras, Caroline Austin and Barbara Truax; and her brother-in-law Robert Carpenter.
She is survived by: her sons, Karl Fischer (Rachel) and Kelly Fischer (Charity); her grandchildren, Kelsie Travis (Tyler), Jarrett Fischer (Naomi Seifert), Tayler Fischer and Devon Fischer; her great grandchildren, Tate Travis and Ty Travis; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Carpenter.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst Funeral Home (301 E 8th St, Clay City, IN 47841). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
