He was predeceased by: his parents, Sydney Wheeler and Sarah Wheeler (McDonald); his former wife Sylvia Leigh Grayson; and his spouse Francis Mildred Blanks. He is survived by: his children, Diane Pullum (Steve), Cheryl Payne (Chris), Steve Blanks (Linda) and Linda Sebree (Charles "Skip"); his brother Frank Wheeler (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Jon (Leila), Kelly, Amber, John (Jessica), Seth (Amanda), Mark (Emily), Joshua (Heidi), Jared (Hallie) and Steven (Whitney); his great grandchildren, Zack, Kameron, Jonah, Cora, Corbyn, Mason, Landon, Brianna (Kevin), James (Tabitha), Raleigh, Tucker, Tripp, Lillian, Pierce, Taylor, Ella, Jack, Luke, Caleb, Daniel, Ruth and Hudson; and his great great grandchildren, Oliver and Immanuel.
