It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jennie Lee Deaton of Converse, Indiana, born in Marion, Indiana, who passed away on June 30, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Mathews (Columbus) and Roy Clyde Mathews; her grandson Jett Pritchett; and her brother Lee Story (Jeff Rice). She is survived by: her husband Charles Deaton; her children, Amber Pritchett (Nick), Evan Deaton (Gina) and Cody Deaton (Alayna Garcia); her grandchildren, Adilyn, Maisyn, Broyn, Brekyn, Jace, Cade and Baylor; her siblings, Don Mathews (late Debbie) and Rose Couch (Larry); and her nieces and nephews, Christina, Megan, Stephanie, Elizabeth, Shawn and Josh. She is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
