He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira "Doc" Stambaugh and Sarah Stambaugh (Kelley); and his siblings, Betty Tipton, Wayne Stambaugh, Albert "Pete" Stambaugh and John Stambaugh.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth E. Huggins; his daughters, Marcy Goodpaster (David) of Marion and Joni Motz (Joseph) of Noblesville; his grandchildren, Tyler Goodpaster, Jordan Goodpaster, Lauren Motz and Olivia Motz; and his siblings, Dale Stambaugh (late Inez) of Amboy and Mary Levy (late Seymour). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
