She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean W. Kilmer and Beulah Kilmer (Montgomery); her husband Robert Bruner; her brother Donald D.; and her sister-in-law Tess Kilmer.

She is survived by: her children, Robin Lee Bruner, Kathy Schildmier (Douglas) and Beth Juliot (Eric); her granddaughter Sarah Bloom (Chris); her children, Jenna O'Connor (Michael), Evan Schildmier (Jena), Nick Juliot (Amanda), Madison Bruner (Rita) and Zach Juliot; and her niece Marcia Krathwohl (David).
