He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Neal Shirley; his brother-in-law Charles Shirley; and his nephews, Keven Hobbs, Randy Freeman, Herky Trosper and Richard Trosper.
He is survived by: his children, Buena Trosper, Carmeleta Smith and Patsy Hobbs; his spouse Mildred; his sons, Bobby Freeman (Kimberly) and Bret Freeman; his grandchildren, Conner, Samuel and Sophia; his mother-in-law Lucy Shirley (Neal); his sisters-in-law, Catherine Brewer (Tom) and Linda Dever (Randy); and his nieces and nephews, Violet Trosper, Debbie Hutchings, Penny Shaffer, Tim Hobbs, Steven Smith, Kimila Dowden, Greg Smith, Marc Freeman, Tim Brewer, Charles Shirley, Tamie Cavins, Jennifer Tuttle and Jeff Dever.
