He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thomas and Sally Aguilar (Buck); and his brother Mark Daniel Aguilar. He is survived by: his son Christopher T. Aguilar of Swayzee; his stepchildren, Joshua Vetor (Taryn) of Marion and Jennifer Vetor of Muncie; his siblings, Thomas Alan "Tom" Aguilar (Mona) of Marion and Suzi Beck of Converse; his grandson Colten Aguilar; his sister-in-law Andrea Aguilar of Palm Harbor, Florida; his stepgrandchildren, Kendalyn Vetor, Keaton Vetor, Brynn Maisongale and Blake Vetor; and his former wife Kim Aguilar of Marion.
