He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Evert and Bessie Edna Loy Garber; his wife Mary Belle Anderson; his son Michael Garber; his grandchildren, Kristy Mobley Osthimer and Judson Mitchell; his great grandchild Anabelle Burton; and his siblings, Betty Haynes, Hurbert, Franklin and Donald Garber.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kay Arlene Mobley (Richard) of Converse and Jane Ann Mitchell of Converse; his daughter-in-law Laurie Garber of Amboy; and his grandchildren, Chris Mobley (Missy), Heidi Miller (Allen), Sara Fowler (Dustin) and Ashley Mitchell. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
