He is survived by: his mother Shirley Helton (Tibbets); his children, Tabitha Nemecek (Andrew) of Greentown, Melissa Higdon (Nathan) of Greentown and Phoenix Storm (Clint); his close friend Cheryl Helton; his son Ryan Downam (Kali); his siblings, Gary Helton (Missy), Sandy Emery (Jeff) of Kokomo, Brenda Shockley of Kokomo and Barb Davis (Bob) of Kokomo; his granddaughter Rebekah Guthrie; and his stepgrandchildren, Sara Higdon, Samuel Higdon (Emily), Joshua Higdon, Spencer Nemecek and Alexander Nemecek. He is also survived by uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
