He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Mills and Ida Mae Mills (Dunn); his sisters, Paula Christerson and Alberta Kendrick; his daughter Patricia Barber; and his great grandchild Cale Wagner.
He is survived by: his former spouse Tula Belle Tackett; his wife Trula Belle Mills; his children, Mike and Sharon Mills; his grandchildren, Trula and Niram; and his daughter Candice Ramos. He is also survived by grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
