He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ford and Sudie Woods Ford; his wife Gladys L. Brown; his daughter Joyce Elaine Woody; and his siblings, Lurena Persinger, Lynn Shellberg, Daniel, Floyd, Joe and Heron Ford.
He is survived by: his son Gayle Ford (Judy) of Connersville; his great grandchildren, Alex Grace, Caroline Grace, Tearra Upchurch, Javaun Upchurch (Brooke), Dixie, Daisy, Viedelia, Lilly and Ava Combs; and his great great grandchildren, Zámaya, Zévaun and Nalaya Upchurch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
