With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tania Jo Lay of Connersville, Indiana, who passed away on December 24, 2024 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Debra Jones Blevins; her grandparents, Louis, Judith Jones, James and Virginia Lay; and her pet Snuggles.
She is survived by: her father David Lay; her stepmother Elizabeth Lay; her children, Tiffany Ailes (Jacob) and Devon Shepard; her sister Lisa Hamilton (Craig); her grandchildren, Caidan and Luke; her stepsiblings, Rebecca Stanley (Keith), Brandy Jones (Darren) and Jason Philpot; her nieces, Lexi Chance and Cierra Woodward (Tad); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jace and Aria; her uncle Randy Lay (Connie); and also, Maggie Wyatt and Cheri McQueen.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Urban Winkler Funeral Home (513 W 8th St, Connersville, IN 47331). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at the Dale Cemetery (801 N Gregg Rd, Connersville, IN 47331).
