Sherrill Umbstead Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2022, at the age of 55, Sherrill Umbstead of Connersville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Louis Lee Lighter; her aunt Barbara Jean Lighter; her parents-in-law, Paul Alfred Umbstead and Letha Faye Umbstead (Pollock); her cousin Daniel Marcum; and her grandparents, Ralph Lighter, Goldie Lighter (Garver), William Keasling and Blossom Keasling (Harvey).

She is survived by: her husband David Paul Umbstead; her daughter Kimberly Ann Umbstead; her mother Sandra Joan Lighter (Keasling); her sister Deborah Jo Simmons; and her siblings-in-law, David Simmons Jr., Richard Duncan, William Umbstead, Daniel Umbstead, Robert Broughton, Donna Broughton (Umbstead), Janet Brown (Umbstead), Lana Umbstead and Kelly Umbstead. She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
