We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2025, at the age of 83, Sharon K Blaker (Connersville, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sharon may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Marion and Ruth Carolyn Schertzer Bright; her son James Marvin Adams (Amy); and her siblings, Larry Bright and Carolyn Bennett.
She is survived by: her husband Michael R. Blaker; and her daughters, Kimberly Riebsomer (Bill Gibbs), Jammie Lynn Hunt (Josh) and Stacey Blaker. She is also survived by two stepsons; 20 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren; several great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Urban Winkler Funeral Home (513 W 8th St, Connersville, IN 47331). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the Lick Creek Cemetery N County.
