She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert V. Shires and Effie Viola Shires; her husband Billy A. Bales; her children, Robert K. Bales, Gary D. Bales, Daniel J. Bales and Mary E. Clifton Oliver; her grandson Jason D. Bales; her nephew Donald Kimber (Bales); her siblings, Edith Ward, Jack, Jim, Robert and Gordon Shires; her siblings-in-law, Floyd, Albert, Louis, Arnold, Donald Bales and Beatrice Bales Clifton; and her son-in-law John Roberts.

She is survived by: her children, Jill Roberts of Connersville, Don Bales (Theresa) of Connersville, Tammy Bales of Connersville and John Clifton (Cindy) of Spicewood Texas; her granddaughter Stephanie Shaffer (Eric) of Indianapolis; her children, Logan Seale (Reygan) of Connersville, Jay Bales of Richmond, Kylee Sizemore (Michael) of Greenfield, Todd Greeson of Richmond and Allen Bales of Riverside California; her great grandchildren, Madeline Shaffer, Elaine Shaffer, Jaxon Seale, Rowan Seale, Jayden Bales, Evelyn Bales, Ariya Bales, Millie Bales, Esai Greeson and Eli Greeson; and her children-in-law, Karen Bales, Linda Robinson and Daryl Seale. She is also survived by her family and friends.
