We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2023, at the age of 81, Richard Edward Barrett of Connersville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Barrett and Martha Barbour Johnson; and his brother Jim "Sonny" Barrett. He is survived by: his spouse Dana Rusher; his children, Richie Barrett (Traci) of New Castle and Rett Barrett (Amy McArthur-Barrett) of Michigan; his grandchildren, Brittney, Alex, Parker, Jacob Barrett, Seth Himes (Teresa), Allison Weeks (Christopher), Evelyn and Abby McArthur; his great grandchildren, Gerrit Himes, Macie Allen, Kylie Rolfes, Aubrie Weeks and Harper Barrett; his brothers, Bill Barrett and Monte Kim Barrett; and his stepbrother Mike Johnson (Karen). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Richard to the Fayette County Cancer Society.
